APM recognized as Emerging Technology Company of the Year by Chief Scientist of Israel

Israel – April. 10th , 2008 – APM Automation Solutions Ltd. is this year’s recipient of the Emerging Technology Company of the Year Award presented by the Chief Scientist of Israel’s Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor. The prestigious award recognizes APM for its development and sales of an innovative 3D level non-contact measurement technology that provides flexibility, high accuracy, reliability and true optimization of process level measurement and inventory control for various industrial applications in different industries such as chemicals, food, aggregates, cement, power, plastic and more.

With APM's range of products it is now possible to measure the level, volume and mass of materials in new applications that prior technology could not reach. Three-dimensional mapping yields true and absolute surface level, volume and mass values inside a silo or open bin with unprecedented accuracy.

APM has a substantial growth story to tell as well: the company quadrupled its staff in less than two years and more than doubled its revenues in Q1 of 2008 compared to Q4 of 2007, and is on course to repeat this trend in rest of 2008.

“We are thrilled and honored to be recognized by the Ministry’s Chief Scientist,” said APM CEO Ofir Perl. “The dedication and innovative spirit of the APM team is fundamental to our success.”

The Chief Scientist’s Emerging Technology Company of the Year Award is considered  the most important competitive honors forum for technology organizations and their leaders. Award winning companies, selected by a panel of judges, are recognized for their innovation, vision and the impact that their technology or products are likely to have.
